so true

“What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.”

Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

A fine sentiment.

yeah I really like this, and it spoke to me when I first read it and it still does now. Loneliness can be one of the most cripplingly painful things we have to deal with...and a strange paradox in the Western societies is to be lonely while surrounded by people. This is certainly a feeling I have had, and one I am struggling with now, and if there is anything ...anything at all I can do to prevent this feeling from continuing, or spreading to more people, I want to do it! And what is a better way than creating communities with that singular goal in mind? I think that would be wonderful.
